This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Watching the TV version， I just had to finish the Trilogy to find out what happened to Mal， Alina and the rest。 At the beginning they are underground， Alina doesn't have her powers and the Apparat is controlling everything。 The faithful are coming and they use small science to duplicate her power for them。 Her small group of grisha who are standing by her stage a revolt as such and she gets her power back and they leave through the tunnels--long story--lots of problems getting to the surface。 Th Watching the TV version， I just had to finish the Trilogy to find out what happened to Mal， Alina and the rest。 At the beginning they are underground， Alina doesn't have her powers and the Apparat is controlling everything。 The faithful are coming and they use small science to duplicate her power for them。 Her small group of grisha who are standing by her stage a revolt as such and she gets her power back and they leave through the tunnels--long story--lots of problems getting to the surface。 They go after the firebird to use as an amplifier--lots of problems。 Then they have a plan to beat Alexander， but they are stopped， then Nikolai saves them and they go to the top of a mountain and plan to beat Alexander， but they are stopped。 Alexander turns Nikolai into a kind of evil monster who flies off。 A small group escapes and they make a great plan that finally works， but not in the way they thought。 They discover the Mal is an amplifier and he makes Alina promise to kill him to use him which she does （the healers bring him back） and she kills Alexandre but she also loses her power and a group of common people are able to summon light and they banish the Fold。 Mal loses his tracking ability。 They put Alexandre and Saint Alina （it was really a grisha who had died and Genya made to look like Alina） on a pyre。 Mal and Alina change their names and build an orphanage on the site of their old one （which Alexandre had destroyed）。 Great great ending。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 De todos los posibles finales jamás me esperé este。No se como sentirme al respecto， he estado viendo las opiniones de la gente a la que le gusto el final y comprendo el punto pero no era lo que esperaba。 Me pone triste que Mal y Alina tengan que vivir el resto de sus vidas como simples mortales， como si todo los demás no hubiera pasado y sin sus amigos。Creo que esperaba algo más como Alina consiguiendo todos los amplificadores， derrotando al Darkling y destruyendo la sombra en una super-mega leg De todos los posibles finales jamás me esperé este。No se como sentirme al respecto， he estado viendo las opiniones de la gente a la que le gusto el final y comprendo el punto pero no era lo que esperaba。 Me pone triste que Mal y Alina tengan que vivir el resto de sus vidas como simples mortales， como si todo los demás no hubiera pasado y sin sus amigos。Creo que esperaba algo más como Alina consiguiendo todos los amplificadores， derrotando al Darkling y destruyendo la sombra en una super-mega legendaria batalla， casándose con Nikolai para ser reina y dirigir el segundo ejército y siguiendo en pareja con Mal （porque por más de que no me guste era lo más obvio）。Dejando de lado el final， me gustó la historia de Baghra， Harshaw me parecía super cool， me encantó la crueldad del Darkling， y que Mal fuera el último amplificador。En cuanto al romance， yo soy team Nikolai pero me tuve que conformar con Mal， que muy al final quizá estaba empezando a acomodarme con la idea。 Pero seamos sinceros， no creo que nadie shipee Malina。Como dije en la reseña del libro anterior， a mi me encanta cuando Alina se muestra poderosa， y amé las partes en las que ella usaba su poder en este libro。 Y en parte es por eso que me frustra tanto que al final perdiera todo su poder， siento que hacía tan poco que lo tenia y como ella decía， siento que le daba vida。Creo que eso es todo， mi resolucion del libro es un desastre porque el final lo cambia todo y me deja con un mal sabor de boca。 El libro sin el final hubiera sido 5 estrellas pero con el final es 3 estrellas， asi que no se que hacer。 。。。more

damn。 That was a wild ride。 I liked Mal & Alina a lot better in this book （though I am adamant that they should break up）， and this book was certainly much more plot-driven than the 2nd mistak- book。 book。Honestly idk what to say， but。 WHOO ONTO SIX OF CROWS！！

✨NO spoilers✨I would like to start this review by saying that this book is definitely my favourite one from the trilogy。 It really exceeded my expectations！If you loved the travelling parts in the first 2 books， then you’re going to enjoy this one as well and maybe even more。 I thought it was such a smart move of Bardugo to include characters that were introduced in the first， second， and third book in the travelling part。 I honestly thought it was brilliant since she created such a unique ‘pack ✨NO spoilers✨I would like to start this review by saying that this book is definitely my favourite one from the trilogy。 It really exceeded my expectations！If you loved the travelling parts in the first 2 books， then you’re going to enjoy this one as well and maybe even more。 I thought it was such a smart move of Bardugo to include characters that were introduced in the first， second， and third book in the travelling part。 I honestly thought it was brilliant since she created such a unique ‘pack’ of people with very different personalities where they all still worked。 I can assure you that there was lots of bickering， and I can also assure you that it was hilarious to read。There were MAYOR plot twists in this novel that I absolutely did NOT see coming。 I was really shocked at some point when things started to get messier and I had to mentally collect myself again。 Lots of things happened and not everything got solved completely， but I suppose that’s the charm of it。 You can definitely say it was an action packed story。Overall， I really recommend reading the third part if you like to see different character dynamics and lots of action scenes。 I give it 4，5 stars rounded up to 5！！ 。。。more

Cross-posted from my blog: http://quietandbusy。blogspot。com**This review will contain spoilers for the first two books in the Grishaverse series**I ended up with a few extra days left in May after I finished Siege and Storm， so I decided to go ahead and move straight into Ruin and Rising， the final book in the main Grishaverse trilogy。 I've been enjoying these books as a nice break in between all of my classics， and I was interested to see how the story would end。 I went into my reading ready to Cross-posted from my blog: http://quietandbusy。blogspot。com**This review will contain spoilers for the first two books in the Grishaverse series**I ended up with a few extra days left in May after I finished Siege and Storm， so I decided to go ahead and move straight into Ruin and Rising， the final book in the main Grishaverse trilogy。 I've been enjoying these books as a nice break in between all of my classics， and I was interested to see how the story would end。 I went into my reading ready to get lost again in Ravka and finally find out if Alina and Mal are able to defeat the Darkling and save the day。The novel picks up a little while after the battle at Os Alta in the previous book。 It was a decisive victory for the Darkling。 He was able to seize control of the Ravkan throne， destroy the little Palace， and kill most of the Grisha that remained loyal to the king。 Alina， Mal， and a handful of others are able to escape and find themselves facing terrible odds。 Their forces are decimated and even Alina's sun summoner powers offer little hope against a Grisha as powerful as the Darkling。 Their best hope lies with the firebird， a legendary creature whose bones can be fashioned into another powerful amplifier to enhance Alina's magic。Accordingly， the group sets out on a mission to find the firebird and use its power to defeat the Darkling once and for all。 They face many dangers along the way。 Setbacks occur and lives are lost。 Throughout it all Alina does her best to be a leader and protect those she loves。 The proves extra challenging when the group uncovers a truth about the firebird amplifier that threatens her resolve to continue。 Caught in the old struggle of her heart versus her head， Alina must find a way to push past all the difficulties and find a way to save her country。I thought this was a pretty good read and a fitting end to the trilogy。 The way I felt about this one was very similar to how I felt about the other books in the series; it was an enjoyable and engaging read。 Once again， Bardugo's world building was excellent， and several new locations in Ravka are explored in this story。 We get deeper into the lore of the world as well， and there are a couple of big twists uncovered here that were genuinely surprising and that took the story in interesting directions。 One issues I noticed was that this novel was plagued by the same slow parts that I noticed in the previous entries in the series。 The action sequences and the bits where secrets were being revealed were great， but the parts in between were often quite slow。 This factor， more than any other， is what makes this a 3-star series for me。 While it was enjoyable overall， there were a lot of dead spots。 I continued to enjoy Alina's character development in this novel as well。 She's stepped into her role as a leader by this time， and when you compare her demeanor now to how it was at the beginning of the series， it's a big difference。 She still struggles with her attachment to Mal though。 She loves him， but realizes that in order to defeat the Darkling and establish a stable government in Ravka afterwards， she might have to give him up。 I still didn't feel overly attached to their relationship throughout a lot of this story， but by the final chapter， I had finally come around。 I loved the ending to the story， and that's a strange thing for me to say。 It's pretty common for me to be annoyed or underwhelmed by the conclusions of young adult fantasies， but I honestly thought this one was pretty much perfect。 Now that I'm at the end of the original series， my next step will be to take on the Six of Crows duology。 I already own both books， and I figure that if I'm going to read them， I'd better do it soon while the details of the Shadow and Bone trilogy are still fresh in my mind。 Those books also have a ton of hype surrounding them， so I curious to see if they live up to it。 In the case of the Shadow and Bone series I just finished， I think that the books are a worthwhile read for sure， but I don't know that they necessarily lived up to all the chatter I heard online。 Maybe I'll feel differently about the next entries in the Grishaverse。 。。。more
